Dear Choice Customer:

For years Choice has provided wireless technologies to over 65% of the Islands, offering both TV and broadband Internet services. While our broadband Internet business is strong and getting better every day, for the past five years our TV business has been operating at a substantial loss. We have explored every available option to make TV a viable and affordable service, along with efforts to identify a buyer or new service provider. The continued increases in programming costs and network upgrades necessary to support new technologies, like high definition programming and more advanced set top boxes, would have necessitated excessive price increases to our customers and made our services unaffordable. Consequently, we find ourselves sadly having to tell you that Choice will be discontinuing TV programming service effective 5/31/2009. We regret any inconvenience and hardships this may cause you.

Choice does remain fully committed to continuing and expanding our broadband Internet business and maintaining our “Best in the USVI” ranking. With a singular purpose, Choice is looking to the future and focused on bringing the very best products to our clients as we continue to provide the premier wireless data service to our community. Currently, Choice is completing major new investments in our data network capacity and performance. Customers should expect to experience faster speeds and additional services beginning in April.

We thank you for your loyal patronage over the years and are committed to serving you for all your data and Internet broadband needs.

Most Sincerely,
signature
